Linkin Park Songs
Believe it or not, the Xero band of yesterday is the Linkin Park of today. The youthful guys who initially constituted the Xero were then fresh out of schooling. Being enthusiastic and innovative, they formed the Xero and started practicing day in and day out. Mike Shinoda’s studio became their favorite place of practice and recording during their initial days when they started up. Fortunately or unfortunately, Mark Wakefield, the lead of the team and another guy decided to part ways since they were of the opinion that it was tough to get a name in the world of music.
During the band’s hunt for a substitute, they bounced upon Chester Bennington, the referral of Jeff Blue who was then the president of Zoma Music. The entry of Bennington into the band was like adding fuel to the fire. Destiny favored the band and they commenced their work on a new assignment. The band changed its name to Hybrid Theory and a while later they renamed themselves as Linking Park.
In spite of the valuable skill and a striking name, the band faced rejects at many auditions. However, in 1999, the Linking Park signed their first contract with the help of Jeff Blue, who was an employee at Warner Bros. This resulted in the release of their first album in the year 2000 under the name of Hybrid Theory.
This album turned to be the best seller of the year 2001 with over 5000 copies sold worldwide. In addition to a series of Grammy nominations which the band achieved, Linkin Park songs backed the award for the best hard rock performance. Laurels that they achieved included the Best Direction and the Best Rock Video awards from MTV.
Praises and Laurels across the globe expedited the sail of the band.
The popularity of the band was on the rise that they were able to perform at 300 concerts right in the first one year. The team started participating in world famous tours like Family Values and Ozzfest. This paved way for the Linkin Park’s own tour, Project Revolution which highlighted Adema, Snoop Dog and Cypriss Hill.
The band was successful in rolling out their second album in the year 2003. They had then named it as Meteora. The release of this album created ripples in the world of music. It not only attained the top position in coutries like US and UK but also backed the second position in Australia. Within 7 months since the release of the album, the Linking Park songs became famous that three million copies were sold out.
This gave way for their second phase of Project Revolution. The Blindside and Mudvayne bands collaborated with the Linkin Park and the guys were offered invites to join Metallica on stage in the year 2003 during their Summer Sanitarium tour.
Amidst the laurels and fame that the Linkin Park songs attained, the guys lost the rapport that they had with the Warner Bros. It took several rounds of negotiations and discussions for the renewal of their contract. In addition to the praises that they won, the guys started their new initiate in helping the needy. They worked to raise funds for the victims of hurricane Charlie and Katrina.
Minutes to Midnight, their third album was out into the market in 2007. 600000 copies were sold across the globe right in the first week of its release. This assisted in the smooth sail of the Linking Park towards a tour to the US. A follow up of their last album is expected to take place soon after the guys return from their tour.
If you really want to tickle your auditory nerves, then Linkin Park Songs are the best way through which you can make it with ease.
